DESCRIPTION
Are you looking to get college credit or a 5 on AP Statistics? This course can help you get there! We’ll prepare you for topics that show up on the AP Stats Exam, focusing on what comes up most often. We’ll also do a lot of practice problems and previous AP exam questions (both multiple choice and free response), show you how to utilize your graphing calculator for them, and discuss other strategies specific to the AP Stats Exam. With the small group format, students will be able to ask questions and get clarification on specific concepts/questions they’re confused on.
Content - preview of some topics covered:
- types of data
- methods for collecting fair data
- probability, random variables
- probability distributions vs. sampling distributions
- inference – including:
- proportions, means, slopes, least-squares regression
- z-tests, t-tests, chi-square tests
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- understanding the format of the test, including the different sections and timing
- how to avoid common mistakes/misconceptions
- how to utilize your graphing calculator to solve statistics questions
- topics covered on the exam! (see Content section description)
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
- high school students (10th – 12th) currently taking AP Statistics
- anyone who doesn’t feel confident about the material/exam yet :)

Fundamentals of Algebra.
