ABOUT INSTRUCTOR
Shannon Lee is currently a second year student at the University of California Berkeley. She intends to major in Molecular and Cellular Biology with an emphasis in Immunology and Pathogenesis. Furthermore, Shannon is a lab assistant at Berkeley’s Wang Lab, which studies the effects of glucocorticoids on human metabolism. Shannon has over seven years of experience in tutoring and working with students and youth through various organizations. Among these includes the California Academy of Sciences where she taught various STEM topics such as geography, zoology, and others to young museum visitors as a member of the Teen Advocates of Science program. Shannon was also a former National Honors Society tutor and has been an EDU Express tutor for several years. She has a passion for learning new things and loves teaching others the knowledge she has learned.
